We take great pride in our commitment to growth and education. Our award-winning in-salon education program includes quarterly hands-on training, and we actively pursue advanced learning opportunities throughout the year—all to bring the latest techniques and trends to our chair.

Your Journey Starts Here
At SisCo Salon & Spa, we’re proud to offer both an Assistant Program and an Apprenticeship Program to help grow the next generation of salon professionals.
Our Assistant Program is perfect for current cosmetology students looking to gain real-world experience while still in school. Assistants work alongside our team, learning the ins and outs of salon life while starting to build their clientele in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Our Apprenticeship Program is a comprehensive two-year journey that covers everything from front desk operations to behind-the-chair training. Apprentices begin with theory, manikin practice, and assisting our seasoned artists, eventually transitioning into building their own clientele as they grow into full-time artists at SisCo.

Heart and Hustle. Being part of the Flushing Area Chamber of Commerce means more to me than just business networking—it’s about being part of something bigger than myself. As both a business owner and a community-driven person, I believe strong local businesses help create strong hometowns. SisCo was built on connection, support, and creating a space where people feel seen, valued, and cared for—and that same mindset is what drew me to the Chamber. I wanted to be involved in helping our community grow, supporting other local businesses, and creating opportunities for collaboration that make Flushing stronger as a whole. Serving as the Vice President on the board has allowed me to be part of meaningful conversations, community events, and initiatives that bring people together. I love being able to support fellow business owners, celebrate local success, and help create experiences that make people proud to call this community home. For me, it’s never just been about running a salon—it’s about building relationships, creating impact, and helping our town continue to thrive.
The Gym for Her
Tobi Williams
Fierce and Fearless. A true champion for women in our community. Tobi is the owner of The Gym for Her but her mission goes far beyond fitness. Tobi is all about empowerment, encouragement, and creating a safe, welcoming space for women to grow stronger inside and out. We’ve collaborated on countless events, cross-promoted our businesses, and proudly serve together on the Flushing Area Chamber of Commerce board, always finding ways to support local businesses and uplift our community. One of our favorite past projects was Train Hard, Recover Smart—a wellness collaboration that combined Tobi’s strength-building classes with SisCo’s healing Infrared Sauna and Red Light Therapy to support full-body recovery and self-care. I also personally train with Tobi, which makes our connection even stronger because I get to experience firsthand the passion and purpose she brings to everything she does. Tobi’s dedication to supporting women, her commitment to community growth, and her vibrant personality make her not just a collaborator, but a true part of the SisCo family.
Flushing Valley Golf Club
Riza Arca
Poised and Powerful. Riza is a powerhouse behind the scenes at Flushing Valley - a space that brings our community together for celebrations, recreation, and connection. Riza wears many hats - event organizer, community builder, and hospitality queen - executing everything from elegant weddings to high-energy golf outings with grace and grit. Our collaboration, Derby Day at the Valley has been nothing short of magic, combining SisCo's flair with Riza's attention to detail and drive to create an unforgettable experience annually. She's one of the hardest workers I know and continues to elevate Flushing Valley with offerings like the community pool with its own bar and volleyball courts, and top-notch service in every corner of the club. Working with Riza is always seamless and inspiring - and I'm so proud to be a part of everything they do down at the club.
Flushing Candle Walk
Mari Brooks & Karen Lorenc
Magic & Meaningful. The Flushing Candle Walk is more that just a beloved holiday tradition - it's a heartwarming celebration of community, kindness, and connection. At the center of this magical event are three passionate women: Mari Brooke of the Humane Society of Genesee County Karen Lorenc of the Flushing Christian Outreach Center Kacie Sisco, our very own, owner of SisCo Salon & Ember Cove Boutique. Together, we serve as co-chairs, blending our strengths and shared vision to bring joy to Main Street each season. From planning parades and coordinating volunteers to lighting the way - literally and figuratively - we work hand-in-hand to ensure this event uplifts the spirit of giving and shines a light on the heart of Flushing. Our collaboration reflects what makes this community special: a deep love for people, a commitment to local service, and the magic that happens when passionate women come together with purpose.
